Fix or let it be

I really apologise for such a post; but while adjusting the headrest; this plastic cover tore off the front part of the driver's seat. I guess some people wouldn't mind; but I have a brand new car with 2,136 miles on the clock and couldn't be more irritated by what happened.

Any ideas on how I could fix this?

Get a cheap seat cover and cover it up

Take it to an automotive upholstery shop.

You could probably order a new one, then take the seat apart to install it. In the end you have to ask yourself, is it worth it?

If it's a brand new car, shouldn't that be under warranty?

Unless you really yanked on it, that should not have happened.  The dealership should make the repair.

Yeah, if it's new, take it to the dealer and claim it is faulty.
