Would you recommand Toyota FJ Cruiser 6 cylander or 8?? this is for offroading. also what are your thoughts on Lexus gx460 and 470 and Land Rover Discover for off roading???

The fj is definitely the best option here for off roading. The lexus are more for luxury mall crawling and I wouldn't recommend a land rover to anyone that wants reliability.
Both the 6 and 8 cylinder are pretty bulletproof. Just get the 8 if you want more power.

FJ Cruisers are reliable and quite capable. The Lexus GX series are very reliable and quite capable off road from the stories I read and videos I’ve seen. Very luxurious too.
Stay as far as you can away from Land Rovers. My father had a Land Rover. He spent $10,000 a year on maintenance and repairs after it hit 80,000 miles.
