I recently bought a 1995 Mitsubishi Pajero Mini, it has 188,000km. 660cc non turbo engine with an automatic transmission. I flushed the radiator, changed the oil and oil filter. (terribly black oil) I’m having trouble finding any info on what type of ATF to use, it is dark as well. Does anyone know what ATF to use and possibly a part # for the filter?

I can’t find an owners manual or service manual anywhere online, this vehicle is imported from Japan and was never made for North America. I’ve tried three parts stores in my town and non of them could look it up. I’m at a loss.
ah yes the joys of imported vehicles. A few of my friends went through that. searching the internet with Google translate. Sounded like a great idea until the cars needed service. Then they got rid of them.
Just wack in some universal ATF and hope for the best.
