Hi Scotty,
I have a 2010 Ford Explorer XLT not drivable is a 170k miles. Last time I was driving and I heard big noise coming from the engine, but still driving all sudden the stop engine ,died. And I won't start at all. I went to the shop they sad blew the head gasket. So what is you think?

What type of noise was it? Maybe it’s time to get a second opinion from another reputed mechanic?

Hi, what did the big noise sound like? was it a regular rhythmic heavy knock? or did it sound like a large kettle boiling?
