Hi,

I have 2002 Mercedes S320 CDI (Diesel, W220.026) with 240 000 mi with "Entrance Position Do not Drive" error on cluster and also error B1410. Moved the the steering in all positions and keep holding switch for 2 sec's when reached the end points. Did this for the seat adjustment in all positions as well. Everything is fine. Entrance position error happened after battery went dead.

Thanks, Adam

the BCM computer was reset and needs to get the data again. It will go off on its own later on when you drive it. No need to worry about it.

Thanks for reply. After a few hundred miles, error did not go by itself.

I know it's endless technological wonders battery goes dead like that you're going to have to pay a mechanic with a Mercedes STAAR tester to reset systems they will not reset themselves
