Is it already safe to buy the Ford Everest in the Philippines equipped with thr 10R80 Transmission? There are incidents last year wherein that transmission breaks. Have they solved the problem?

As far as I am aware other than software there hasn’t been any changes.

They haven't made any physical changes to that transmission. I would avoid it myself.
