Should I buy a Mustang

Just curious to see if anyone knows about the Ford EcoBoost engines and their reliability. I'm looking at Mustangs with those engines and unsure if there's anything to look out for with them. Thanks.

Thanks, much appreciated! That will help.

My girlfriend has a 2017 EcoBoost Mustang. It's fine, but the check engine light comes on all the time because of something with the purge valve. I tried replacing it with another OEM purge valve. It worked for a while, then it's back to needing a purge valve again. Anymore, Mustangs are becoming crappy cars because they're built too cheaply. I have a 2017 V6 and I had the same problem, too. Electronics hecho en Mexico is not a good thing. I have a 1999 Ford Ranger as well, that thing has never tripped a check engine light, and it still works, too. As far as I can tell, the purge valve has never been replaced. That one has 291k miles on the clock.

Good to know, thanks.

Stay away from all model year 2015 and newer Ford Mustangs.  Ford quality has been on a downhill for a while.

They don't pass on the savings to you, the end customer, they keep the price the same.
