I want to get a used tundra to tow and haul things. What are the best years to focus on based on your experience working on them?

Any year up to 2021 which is last year that has a tried and true V8 that is virtually indestructible and plenty of power for towing. 2022 and newer models has a twin turbo V6 which the long term reliability on those is questionable since it came out for few years aside from turbo wastegate problems in the first place which has been fixed.

Buy one of the more recent V8 models.
