Hey I have a 2003 Ford Escape, it ran great but I noticed it had a coolant leak. I replaced the water pump, lower and upper radiator hoses, thermostat, and thermostat housing. The leak is fixed but now the car overheats, I’m very confused and would appreciate any help.

Have you changed the radiator cap?
Worn out caps will almost always cause overheating issues.

2 things, was the thermostat installed upside down?/did/does it line up proper, and did you burp the cooling system properly? Some cars have complicated burning procedures... Idk if yours does or not.
