Ford explorer transmission overheats

Topic starter

I own a 2007 Ford explorer 4.6 liter 3v 4 wheel drive,  100k miles, with the motor in excellent condition. I have changed transmission and motor oils and filters. I purchased it new. However, 14 years later transmission overheats only at a stand still when weather is hot outside, cools down when driving. What could it be? {black}:vomited:

You may have a blocked transmission cooler in your radiator.  15 years old and never been replaced?
