Hello scotty, my father has a 2006 ford explorer with 162,000 miles the car has been running pretty rough with how it can't change shifts quick enough when going the lower speeds we got the car scanned and it read a p0743 is there anything that can fix this.

When was the last time you changed the trans fluid and filter? Dirty fluid could cause this.
