Hey everyone, so my 2017 F-150 2.7 EcoBoost with 125k miles, after I replaced the spark plugs developed an intermittent misfire under load when accelerating on the freeway. Autozone said I have codes P0305 P0022 and P052D. I replaced the coil pack with a duralast coil on cylinder no 5 and it worked for a day but then it came back this morning. It didn’t misfire before I changed the plugs. Any thoughts on what’s going on?
Thanks everyone for the help! It was a cracked spark plug in cylinder #5.
Thanks for letting us know! Logical that it was something like that.
Where did you buy the plugs? Counterfeits are common, particularly on eBay and Amazon.
I bought the plug from autozone and they are ford oem plugs.
go back and check your work in case there's something you missed.
Make sure wires are in the right order and everything is tightened up and snapped together tightly.
