Ford F 350, 2006 lariat, 4 / 4 single rear wheel.Long bed
After starting it fine and driving it around for over 5 minutes. If I shut it off, it will not restart for 20 minutes.Up to several hours.
My dog ripped a wiring harness in half and I reconnected with butt connectors and the taillights work towing stuff works.
The warning harness connects under the hood by the master cylinder and it splits into two connectors. Then runs down the frame rail on the driver's side all the way back past the gas tank.
Any.\nQuestions get a better picture. Please let me know love to know how to fix this.Do I just need a new wiring harness?I'm about to lift the bed and check the fuel pump.
Thanks everyone for your help. Thanks for putting this together.Scotty loaded videos.Hope everyone's have a good day
Is anything happening while driving with the gauges? Overheating, etc?
Can you hit it with a code reader?
Check the connection to the cylinder and to whatever it goes to at the other end.
Depending on how bad your pup damaged it, you might need a new one. It's worth checking out all the possibilities first though, as you know.
How did the dawg get to it in the first place, if ya don't mind?
It's cranking right since you can drive it sometimes?
Scotty has many videos on how to fix cars not starting. Here's one:

Could even be a coincidence happening in tandem to the pup ripping and tearing. It's probably related for real though I'm just saying, stranger things have happened. Good luck buddy
I searched "Car won't start Scotty Kilmer" there's so many
@bingray Thanks for replying!!
The truck starts up fine. If I got to the grocery store then come back out it won't restart...unless I wait.
Im glad you brought up gauges because the gas gauge hasnt worked since this happened..no clue how much fuel is in it.
And the codes are p0460-fuel level sensor A circuit: This is new, after the ripping of the wires.
Dog got to it from under the truck, I left it in the backyard for 2 days after moving big things and I new I shouldn't have left it there.
And p0676-which I've had for years, no lie.
Other than that it runs and start like normal. There are other wires he chewed and the abs light has come in since. But I thought that was unrelated.
Again thanks for the feedback
