Does a 2002 F150 with 178k still have life left in it? Heard the triton was great until 2003, anything that particular year had to look out for. Wanting a truck for daily driver, no heavy towing or anything.

Definitely have it checked out. @yaser is on point...the engines were good, but the transmission could be on it's way out. If you are looking to daily drive it, have some money set aside for repairs.
I don't recommend daily driving any vehicle that's almost 20 years old as a lot of parts will be going bad just due to age.

It can be a good truck but have a mechanic check it out especially the automatic transmission.
