@scottykilmer I know you always have good things to say about the 5.0 V8's in the ford f 150's. My question is are the 3.5L V6 Eco boost still decent? I can purchase a brand new 2022 f 150 with a 3.5L V6 Eco boost for about 20k less then a brand new 2023 with the 5.0 V8 due to a difference in interest rates between the two. I am stuck on what to do. The price seems nice on the smaller engine but I want to make sure I make the right decision. I normally drive about 20,000KM per year, I do all the maintenance needed on time, oil etc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Will be buying new from a Ford dealership.
PS, we love your YouTube page and videos, we watch them daily.
I'd still love to hear what @scottykilmer has to say.
Keep watching his Youtube videos. He'll probably answer it there.
I personally wouldn't buy anything by Ford after 2017. See this -

If you don't tow a lot and you take care of the engine by changing the oil and filter frequently, the Ecoboost engines can be a good choice for you.
they're better than the older ecobooms , but still not what I would consider "good"
Neither is a good choice.
Thanks for the responses. Seems to be a mixed response. lol.
The 5.0L V8 is the best one out of all engines that are put in the newer F-150s. All the others besides the V8 are junk.
