My friend is looking for a Ford Falcon 2004 with 221k kms on it. As per the seller back shock abs needs replacing, wiper blades do not work sometime and the car door window not working. asking price is 2k. what do you think about buying this? He is after Ford falcon/ Fairmont with V6-4L engine cars

I agree with mmj, that's definitely a pass.
just get a different car and not that junk, with that kilometrage and those issues... as far as I'm concerned it's just not worth even $200...
Find another Falcon which doesn’t need thousands worth of repairs, mate..
TMK, it’s not a V6 but an inline 6.
Also, TMK, the inline 6 Ford engine in those cars are resilient because there is no timing belt or timing chain. It is a timing gear.
If yiur friend knows what he is doing, it may be a worthwhile purchase, not sure about the price though. I sure as hell don’t know what I am doing, so I would have to pass. I do have a sweet spot in my heart for inline 6 engines though, and not many brands make them anymore. So I can see why he would want that engine.
