I have issues with my ABS, Engine, and other light coming on and then some or will go off after
a couple of days. My car vibrates and the colder it is outside the more it vibrates. And on top of that
the only time my heater works is when my car is idling, if I start to drive it the needle goes back to the C
and stays there. This car just went over 100,000 miles. This all started up about 2 years ago with my low
tire light coming on when my tires were not low, couple of days later it might go off and then come back on with the engine light and stay on. O yea and one time only (1 1.2 years ago I was driving over railroad tracks and after
clearing them all the sudden my car dies, I put it in N and it started back up. I have never had that happen since
but it was just weird that it did that to begin with. Just curious if this all could be related to one thing.
did you get it scaned
No, I have not. To be honest I'm not sure where to take it and I know taking it to the dealer I'll have
things done that don't need it. Need to find a trusted mechanic in the Little Rock, Bryant AR area.
Is this on Stagecoach rd (hwy 5)?
Replace your "stuck open" thermostat and you'll have heat while you're driving and cold air is rushing past your radiator.
Thank you, that will be the first thing I replace.
Ah the 'ol Maracca! The 09-10 Focus! Trust me - mine borderline required hearing protection.
The vibrations depend on the temperature, because the cheap plastic everywhere expands and contracts. I started sticking wads of paper into openings and was at least able to get the radio to stop.
Get her scanned and check for stored codes. Not sure why your Focus died going over tracks, never had that problem. Could you have been low on fuel? That intrigues me...
Those things drive forever, but they rattle. I got 289K miles out of my 09.
No, I wasn't low on gas and it started right back up when I put it in Neutral. That is the only time this car has ever done that and hasn't done it since. Right now I'm trying to find a trusted mechanic in the LR and Bryant AR Area.
Go to West End. That's a great shop down there in Little Rock
