Hi have a 2013 ford focus that stuck in park. i came to the conclusion that its probably a blown fuse as the brake lamps aren't working either. the book suggest it is a fuse to the brake interlock system. however the diagram does not list a fuse for brake interlock system. i looked online and I saw that the location for this F42 15A but when i look at the diagram it says F42 is for Rear window wiper motor.
can someone give me the correct location and direct me which fuse box to look at(passenger,luggage,engine )
MMJoe is right. If Fuse 21 in the engine compartment fuse box is good, then it's probably a faulty Stop Light Switch (Brake Pedal Position Switch).
