I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. I removed the Harmonic Pulley and when installing the new one, the bolt does not tighten all the into the crank. It get to a point then releases . What is the best way to get the Harmonic balancer back on the Crank. I believe the threads are worn.

If the threads in the crank aren't too badly damaged you can try to clean them up with a tap. If that doesn't work you could repair the threads with a Time-Sert, Helicoil, or something similar.
