I have a 2003 Focus SVT Zetec 6 speed manual. It's a great car and I have had very little trouble with it. It has 160,000 miles. I had it from 80,000. I just recently had the cam belt replaced to play safe with these miles. I just want to know in your experience if there is anything I should look out for that may go or break considering its mileage. It does rattle a bit from top end but it clears after warm up. It also like to do its own thing on idle after start but again this settles after warm up. It still pulls well and no smoke in the exhaust. The only trouble I have had with it is the T stat housing leaking which is now cured. Thanks Dave
Those are solid little cars. If you take care of it they will go for quite some time. Solid drivetrain. I would expect the weak point to be the aging electronics, bit otherwise it should be ok.

well it never hit anything solid. It's got a bit of water inside. Great little car for fishing. Very clean chassis.
