greetings
I have a 2016 2.5L ford fusion, I got it second hand 2 years old from ford. and I have jerking and bad acceleration issues, I visited the dealership many times, they inspected both engine and transmission, but they found nothing eventually after 2 more visits they suggested that replacing the transmission solenoid could help. it did nothing, then they changed the oxygen sensor, cleaned the fuel injectors, replace spark plugs, and clean the engine and many other procedures... nothing worked, only reprograming the transmission and clearing the Adaptive driving table, helped for a little time "around 2 to 3 months" then its back jerking and accelerating badly , especially on lower gears like trying to go from 30 to 40 or from 50 to 60 engine noise and rpm became high, any ideas or sugissions . ford tried to convince me its working fine and this is how the trasnmission is dessigned to work ....
by the way, the car has less than 100000 mile
appreciate your time
and god bliss you all
Lose the dealer and find an independent mechanic who will deep scan the vehicle for any codes to start the diagnostic procedure correctly. The dealership is there to sell cars, not fix them. The dealership service department approach seems to be throwing expensive parts and labor at the problem. They have no incentive to solve the problem as long as they can keep stringing along hopeful and deep pocket customers upon whose ignorance they prey.
