Thoughts on 2008 Ford Mustang with V6

Hey Scotty, How good are the Ford Mustang V6's? I'm looking at one that seems to be taken care of, I know the V6's tend to be driven less hard by the owners vs. the V8's but can they also be a good long lasting car? This one's a 2008 with about 130k miles

The V6s are reasonably ok. If you want to buy one as a toy, go for it. Just don't pay too much for it.

I have a 07 V6 with just over 150K miles. They are pretty well put together cars and as long as you take care of it, it will take care of you. I've had it for about 40K miles now and it's only broke down 1 time because of a coolant temperature sensor (which was a very easy fix and less than 30$ sensor). I've even been told on this forum that the engines can last like 300K miles with proper care. Not sure about validity but I will look for the post and link it back here.

here is where I was told that ^

Thanks for that tip! That definitely helped a lot. Now I just need to make sure that this one really was taken care of. The seller did say that it is currently in the shop getting a thermostat sensor replaced (Is that the same part you were talking about that you changed on yours?). But other than that the car looks in great shape from the pictures. I haven't actually gone to check it out yet but the interior, exterior and engine bay look super clean for sure!
