Beyond brand loyalties, and because both are now at least 10 years old, I recommend using the 3C approach, which is "Condition, Condition, Condition". That would include physical vehicle condition, title status, registration status, vehicle history including number of previous owner and what they used it for.

I'd spend a good 2-3 hours (at least) checking everything on each vehicle before even considering a decision. If you're not necessarily a mechanic, have a good, trustworthy, honest mechanic do the same thing, and write everything down !

Then a fairly objective comparison can be made, which could be a BIG HELP in making the right decision.

But do yourself a favor, and don't base your decision on factors such as "Wow, neat rims", "Hey, Chevy is faster", or other such nonsense.

Ford F-150 hands down. 👍

Scotty says it's a much more reliable truck and Consumer Reports agrees.

Again depends on its use/maintanence history. If the Chevy was a real creamer, thats still a decent option but Fords have been more consistent in reliability.
