I have a 2002 ford ranger 3.0 v6, it has been throwing a few codes on me all year long. P0172, P0301 and P0302. They are rich bank 1 and misfire codes, the truck has stalled on me a couple of times months ago but has since stopped but is still idling rough. I have tried everything I can think of, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
New Heads, plugs, wires, coil pack, fuel filter, fuel rail on bank 1, fuel pressure regulator bank 1, fuel injectors, injector pig tails, timing chain, all O2 sensors, coolant temperature sensors, crank and cam sensors, maf, New throttle body, pvc, and probably other things I'm forgetting. Compression test was done and every cylinder is in good shape, fule pressure test was also done and everything looked good there.
The only other thing I can think of to replace is the computer but I'm just tired of throwing money at a 18+ shit box. Dealership could not figure it out so this is my last hope before I crush it haha
@msza2
I'm having a similar problem with my 01 Tacoma. Check out my post. I think the Denso injectors I got from Ebay cheap were defective or fakes, leaking sending gas into my oil. I plan to replace injectors again and use ones from Rock Auto.
Sounds like a good music computer have a projected that so many things could possibly be but with those codes often the computer are the wiring harness starting to degrade their
My Ranger with the 4.0 has suffered from intake manifold leaks a couple of times, very hard to locate as well. I know the 3.0 has a different intake, and intake leaks usually end up in a lean condition, but may be worth checking.
