Hi Scotty, I am thinking about trading my 2016 Kia Forte in for a nissan frontier 4x4. My wife and I are expecting in June and I would like a roomier car. I was thinking about getting a higher mileage used one from about 2013 to 2017. What do you think about the Frontier? Are the good long term trucks? Thanks in advance.
@allenyotaguy
I owned a 2007 Frontier and it was a great running little truck, I bought it new, how ever when I hit 240k the transmission went out and the shop wanted almost 5 thousand to fix it, there was a problem with the trans cooler leaking coolant into the trans, but a new one shouldn't have that issue.. good luck
@allenyotaguy
I don't know about the new ones, but the ones from 07-08-09 were really uncomfortable for the people in the back cabin, although they're really dependable, they're not too comfy for a family, unless you need it for heavy work or work in the country. If it's room and dependability you're looking for, better get an SUV like a Honda CRV, or a Kia Sportage, Hyundai Santa Fe, Ford Escape, if the CRV goes high above your budget.
It is a lot better than a kia smart move

I don't know man my Kia has been excellent so far. Just hit 60k problem free but we'll see.
