Hello I'm getting a 2002 ford taurus 3.0 for a first car it has 90,000 miles on it. Are these cars reliable? And how long do you think it will last?

Those cars were basically in the same league as the Cavalier. They weren't great, but they weren't horrible either. They aren't cars that you would pay very much for. You would want to check out the transmission as that was the weak link on those cars. If the transmission checks out then it can be a decent first car.

I assume this is enough;

The Big Three Americans have questionable quality (even back then) and the transmissions are weak on these. I wouldn't buy one for more than $1500, good money can get you a good car, like a Toyota Camry.
