Hey Scotty ,
Planning on moving to Texas , from the tristate area. Looking for a pickup truck and cannot decide between a Toyota Tundra or a Ford F-150. Which car is more expensive to maintain?
Thanks

New or used?
Used
Toyota is more reliable
I would go for a Toyota
Throw the dice on that one.....
Fords are easier to service and MUCH less to maintain. Stay away from 4.6 and 5.4 triton engines. Unless someone has replaced all the spark plug holes with the ford steel inserts.
I have one. Its a great engine but has this flaw. BUY THE 5.0 liter COYOTE. Its good one gas and has lots of power.
The toyota in the older tundras has the starter under the intake manifold. The ford is easy to change in 20 min. I had a tundra and a T100. When they start nickel and diming you, bend over ha ha
I have no experience with the 5.7 toyota v8 but I can tell you for sure the FORD 5.0 will run with it and gets better fuel economy. Fact
Toyota for long life if ur not towing all the time.
Ford v8 diesel for performance only if u need it
