Not a mechanical question, more of an exterior car care question

I recently bought my first car and got a foam cannon to go with my families pressure washer, and was wondering what type of soap you would recommend? I know there are a lot of brands out there(Chemical Guys, Meguiars, etc.) and was hoping someone with a lot of experience with cars may have some input. Thank you for your time.

It’s more of a personal preference. In reality automotive soaps are milder and tend to not strip your wax off. I personally use a car wash brand with a wax in it now. I can’t believe I ever did it any other way. I use  dawn when I am going to use clay bar and rewax.

Im not a big detailing fanatic. But I personally like to use meguiars or Armor all because of their price and availability. I have heard great things about chemical guys and mothers. I really don't think that there is a huge difference between them though. They are all Ph balanced so they wont damage your clearcoat.
