Which is better 2012 Ford Edge v6 or 2012 Ford Explorer v6

I am going to give the edge to the Explorer.
They have been making them for years and are top rated in the crossover space.
The Edge has the EcoBoost engine that does have a few issues.
Two others to look at would be a Toyota Hylander or the Lexus -
