I don't have a nice little high low gauges and I went and bought a Sub-Zero art degree thingy freon and I went to add while my vehicle is running AC on and it is showing in the red please help me don't know what to do car AC blows mildly cold

You really need the high/low gauge set to see what's going on. The cheap low-side gauges that come on some cans are pretty much useless. You don't need a fancy set, an inexpensive one for $40 or $50 is good enough for home use. It would also be helpful to know what kind of vehicle you are dealing with (make, model, year).
