Hi Scotty,
I just recently installed new rotors, calipers and brake pads on my 2011 Jeep Wrangler JK 4 door. I bled the brakes and bedded the pads but when I have to "slam" or hard brake there is a noise coming from the driver's side front tire. Almost a grinding noise. the brake pedal doesn't move or vibrate like it would if I was driving in snow and had to stop suddenly as if the ABS kicked in. It doesn't do it when normal breaking. The ABS light doesn't come on, my ball joints don't move. Could the speed sensors need cleaning? I can't figure out why it does this.
Faulty speed sensors don’t cause grinding noises. If the noise started after you did the brakes I would start there. It sounds like the hardware is rubbing on the rotor. Double check and make sure the pads and hardware are installed correctly.
