Hey Scotty, My wife just bought a used 2014 Escape earlier this year. She loves it except when you get to about 40mph, you get a shimmy in the front. Did some research and people are saying its a drive axle. What do you think?
Its kind of a vibration that only happens at around 40 mph

I'd rotate tires front to back and see if the shimmy travels with the tire.

You tires could be out of balance. If tires are in balance, then it's a wheel bearing that's either loose or going bad.

I would bet on worn tie rod ends.
