Hey recently got a 06 frontier auto with 200k miles
Runs good, but noticed the aftermarket trans cooler looks a little beat up and old. So wanted to replace it.
Would this one be a good replacement?

is the original cooler also a tube-and-fin design? Or is a the stacked plate kind?
Does this cooler have the same surface area and BTU rating?
Will it mount up easily?
These are the questions you need to ask. If yes, then it should be fine.
Personally, if it's not leaking then I wouldn't touch it on a 20yr old vehicle. You could be opening a can of worms.
