I have 8,500 miles on mine and use 93 octane gasoline. Is a fuel additive recommended, and if so what is good brand and how often should I use it? Thank you!

If yor car does not require premium gas, you basically waste your money putting high octane fuel in it for normal driving. About the additives, gasolines sold in the US has required additives and you really do not need to add anything unless you have some issues with the fuel injectors.
