I have a 94 Jeep Wrangler YJ and my fuel gage stopped working along with the temperature gage. All other gages work fine. They both went out at about the same time. What can I do to get them working again??
It looks like checking fuse #9 would be a good starting point.
I thought it was a fuse. Fuse # 9 was the first thing I checked and change. That is how I landed on this page. Looking on YouTube for what else it could be since changing the fuse did not fix the issue and the 2 gages are still not working. Thanks for your reply. If it helps any they stopped working after a fuel pump change
Those gauges don't have much in common except for the B+ wire from fuse #9. The common ground is for illumination, not gauge operation.
Maybe put a test light on that #9 fuse and see if it's getting power.
- Look at the fuses if not the fuse it could be the fuel gage that is broken
