Fuel injector cleaner

Hey scotty, i have a 2019 honda civic lx cvt 2.0 liter with almost 50,000 miles on it. I am the original owner of the vehicle. I noticed in some of your videos you talk about putting burney's fuel cleaner in the gas tank. I would like to know if chevron techron complete fuel system cleaner is just as good as burney's or should i stay away from the chevron fuel injector cleaner?

That's a fairly new vehicle. Are you having problems that suggest clogged injectors?

No i do not currently have any issues with my fuel injectors. I have always put chevron gas in my car since day one but was just wondering if every once in a while i should but fuel cleaner in it?

No, not unless there is a problem.

If you are using Chevron gasoline, you are already using Chevron (Techron) fuel injector cleaner... it's included in the additive package.

I agree with @chucktobias that there’s no need to do anything right now. Just use good gas as you are, but I don’t think it will benefit much from a fuel treatment as preventive maintenance (for gasoline engines anyway).
IMO, Techron is the gold standard. The other stuff you mentioned could be good too, maybe as good, but I doubt it’s better. (Though if anyone wants to post a link to independent testing that would be interesting)

You really don't have to clean the fuel injectors at 50k miles. I would recommend you change it every 100k miles. And Walmart usually cleans fuel injectors for like $20 something.
