I need to get a temporary fuel pump for my roommates 2007 Toyota Solara. Other than another one are there any other fuel pumps that would work? Like a 2007 camrys fuel pump? I don't know if it's relevant but his is a inline 4.

Most people replace the fuel pump assembly. But if you're strapped for cash you can buy just the fuel pump & strainer on ebay for under $30.

It's a little more work (you have to remove the pump from the assembly).

When it comes to fuel pumps it's best to never go this cheap (You get what you pay for) but if you need a solution that may last a few years, and you can't afford a better option, then this is probably your best solution.

There's youtubes to guide you on how to do this on your roomates 2007 Solara.
