Hello there , I have a Toyota Camry 2005 LE 4- cylinder with 182k miles .

i bought it 4 months ago & since then I’ve taken care good care of it ! But codes P0441 , P0446 , P0455 continue to come back even after

-I’ve change the fuel cap which the seal was in bad condition.

-Cleaned the purge flow sensor & also changed the vacuum solenoid

- Also checked the fuel tank pump seal/gasket & it was in good condition

the first time i filled up the tank it overfilled & without knowing how the previous owner took care of it

now I don’t do it anymore because doing so causes a fuel smell inside the cabin/driver side & outside as well .

LASTLY, i took it to a trusted mechanic my family knows , to perform a smoke test & he confirmed that the only place that the smoke came out from the top of the gas tank but he couldn’t really pint point it since he didn’t lower the tank .

What should i do next ?
lower the tank or change the charcoal canister ?
thank you.

If smoke was coming out of the top of the gas tank it may be cracked, or if hoses connect on the top of the tank they may have deteriorated over the last 19 years.

Thank you so much Chuck , I’ll definitely check that .
You would recommend dropping the tank to be able to check the hoses on top right ? Or not necessary

Since the smoke test showed a leak up there you really need to see what's going on. So unless there's an access hatch above the tank it needs to be dropped.

Roger that thank you ! I’ll get that done .
