Door won't close

Good afternoon. I have a 2020 Honda Odyssey EX with a little over 25,000 miles. I bought it in July of 2020, after all their recalls and replacing stuff, they damaged the interior of the vehicle when they replaced the main harness in the car.

But my major concern are rear sliding doors which does not want to close. It has power doors so doesn't matter did i try with remote, switch on the car or door handle it get few inches from closing and retract back to open.

I drove it to Gerard Honda of Countryside il at least 10 times and they were telling me that they can't duplicate the problem, they cleaned it, they grease it, they adjusted it...

Worst of all that door didn't close when wife was home alone with kids and she didn't see door open and it was raining overnight so everything was soaked wet on passengers side

I have 3 videos that my wife recorded and I show them to Honda dealer but it is intermediate and they are always closing according to their mechanics.

I spoke to someone from American Honda but no much help

What are my options?

I love the car but they couldn't fix it in warranty for over a year,  I'm wondering what will happen when warranty expires...

Thank you for your time

Bojan

Do I have a right to ask for a new car since they are not able to fix it or what can I do?

Check your state's lemon law.

well to diagnose the problem, they need to be able to reproduce it. You will have to find a way to demonstrate it to them.

I understand that, but they had my vehicle approximately 8-10 times for this issue. Each time for a day or two. Last week, they had it Wednesday and Thursday, and I had the same problem this Monday

I left it just an hour ago, and I'll let them have it for week or two. After that, I'll look for an attorney

I don't understand why should I need to show them, when I show them on wideo I have. Shouldn't it be their job to find the problem

Please let me know if you have any suggestions

Thanks

because that's how cars work. You can't fix an issue, if you can't produce it. What's not to understand about that?
.
If you tell me to fix a leak in your pipes, and I come over and don't find a leak anywhere, then how am I supposed to fix it?

is there something getting in the way of the door, like a seatbelt strap?

No, everything is clear and clean
But still, when the door gets a few inches from closing, they just retract and open up by itself
Do I have a right to ask for a new car since they are not able to fix it or what can I do? Thanks
