Hi Scotty!

I just found you on YouTube (binge watched your videos lol) & would love to get your recommendation! My Husband & I currently have a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk (V6) with 97k miles. We do a good amount of towing now (+/- 4000 lbs) & have been traveling more frequently to NH from CT (200 miles each way). We have 2 large dogs as well so we are looking for a full size SUV that will be reliable, comfortable, be able to handle the towing & the long distance towing we plan on doing. We would like spend under $40k if possible but I guess that will also depend on what they give me for my Jeep (I know, you are probably laughing lol).

My Jeep has some nicer features which I would like in my next vehicle, such as heated seats since this will also be my daily driver. However, I work from home so I don't drive a lot. We will likely be putting on seat covers because of the dogs so not having leather isn't a deal breaker. I'm not opposed to a Truck with a Crew Cab either but would prefer an SUV.

Can you please give me your recommendation(s)?

Get a Toyota you can't beat them today I just worked on a 2001 Toyota 4Runner with $386,000 miles on it original owner and it still runs like a clock. It's a v6 automatic and can tow 5000 lb

For a new vehicle, expect base model starting prices $55,000 - $65,000 for a full-size SUV.

Cheapest full size Nissan Armada base price begins at about $47,500.00. Better vehicles start much higher.

However, because dealers want to move the old 2020's (mostly vehicles nobody wanted), you may get a lower price on last years model.

But in any case, good luck finding what you want.

Highlander, land cruiser, GX460, LX470, etc are all good. Lexus' may be expensive to repair down the road due to all the electronics on it.
