What about BJ’s gas and why do people trash it?

I have friends that use Costco gas and they haven't had any problems. BJ's should be similar, probably delivered by the same truck as it makes its rounds. (I'm not a member of either so don't have personal experience with them.) Gasoline sold in the U.S. has to meet or beat a set of minimum specifications so it should not be an issue unless maybe you're trying to use it as racing fuel.
