Hey Scotty love you videos! I have a 2004 Chevy impala 3.4L V6 w/146k miles. Is there any SMART ways I can increase gas mileage? Thank you!
Clarification: Have you noticed your MPG dropping over the years (or even more recently) or are you just curious if you can do any better from the “normal” baseline MPG the car was designed for?
Hey DayWalker, both
The drive slower change the oil frequently with the lowest viscosity oil allowed for that engine keep air in the tires pretty much drive conservatively now of course it is a problem you need a new air filter fuel filter tune up whatever do that if it needs it
Thank you! What is the best way to perform a fuel filter tune up?
Change it.
Go through the videos below from Scotty and check each of the items he mentions: some you may have done already, some might be long overdue, but I’d start there.
