Gas Mileage change

Hi Scotty, Love your channel! Welcome to TENNESSEE!

Question, I have a 2012 Subaru Forester limited 2.5, it has 90,000 miles on it, I do all the required Maintnance and change the oil every 4k with full synthetic, I use premium fuel,  it uses oil and recently I changed the PVC valve, I noticed that the gas mileage has consistently dropped by 1 mile per gallon, silly I guess to ask but I wonder if the PVC valve may not be working properly.

Thanks! Kevin W-Knoxville, TN

When did you notice the 1 mpg drop? Immediately after changing the PCV valve or some time after? It may be the problem if the hoses are not connected properly, hence causing a vacuum leak. Check all the hoses and intake tract one more time for any loose clamps or hoses.

I Did notices it right away, thanks for the tip!
