I have 2015 volkswagen passat with a 1.8 engine. The car has 51,000 on it an I keep up with schedule maintenance visits. I have a gasoline smell. I changed the fuel cap an the smell persist. What do you recommend I try next? I have no check engine lights an no visible leak signs. Please contact me at [personal info redacted]. I appreciate any assistance you can offer. Thank you. Michael
It is extremely inadvisable to give out your email address on a public forum.
NO ONE FROM HERE WILL EMAIL YOU!!!
If you should be contacted that way by anyone claiming to be Scotty or from this forum it would be fraudulent.

Have this vehicle inspected by a professional mechanic.
It is extremely dangerous to continue to drive a vehicle, with a fume leak.
