Hello! I own a 2001 Camry with only 125,000 miles. I have noticed some superficial rust on the frame and I’m wondering if that’ll ever become a significant problem that will need attention in the future. I know Scotty says that superficial rust is nothing to pay attention to. But does superficial rust eventually progress into catastrophic frame failure?

Eventually, of course. Eventually, a tank will rust to pieces.
The Camry is a unibody car. No frame.
