need a good reliable crossover / suv I've always been a ford type guy but I will drive it a lot all over the country so I'm trying to decide do I get new or used.
I am open to any and all suggestions I can research from your suggestions.

RAV4 or CRV would be my go to.

What are your constraints? Otherwise, I would go with the Toyota RAV4 or Highlander depending on your needs.

There are so many choices. If you want a used luxury one you could get a 2013-2015 Lexus RX350. For a regular SUV, there is the 2016-2018 Toyota RAV4. A smaller and newer option would be the Honda HR-V...
