Can I use gf-6 oil in my 2011 f150 eco boost. It says 2012 vehicles and after. I think I could use it because the engine has gdi and turbos. If I can’t use it tell me why.

since is says 12 and after but its made for those engines call the ford dealer and ask to check for certain.

The Ford dealer had no clue! I had to inform the dealer about GF-6 oil. All he could say is “that’s cool”.
