Hi Scotty-
I am looking to replace my 2005 Yukon Denali that has 175,000 miles on it for a new or newer SUV that is the same size. I am inclined to stick with a GM product with an Eight Cylinder motor, but the Ford Expedition with the EcoBoost looks interesting. What’s you recommendation? Thank you!

It might be a good time to check out something different. The EcoBoost is known for an abundance of issues as are the Chevrolet V8s. You're kind of asking which if these two bad options should I pick. If I was you I would put my money elsewhere.

I would get a Ford with a 5.0L V8 instead of these two options. Just stay away from the early years of Ecoboost engines, 2015 is when the improved.
