Hey Scotty
I’m looking at a V6, automatic, 2015 GMC Canyon high country with 185,000 miles for $11,000.00 cash from a private seller. I know the guy and the miles are mainly highway. He would drive it from Florida to Wisconsin. It is in perfect shape and it was serviced regularly at a dealer. With all the miles and being a GMC do you think it is a good deal? It wouldn’t be a daily driver, just my hunting truck and weekend trip to lows.
Those are prone to transmission problems and power steering failure.

No, I would pass on it with that mileage.
Colorados and Canyons are famous for electrical problems. Thumbs down.
@chucktobias is right about transmission. It is good that it is mostly highway miles, but probability is high that it will need a new transmission if you intend to keep it long.
It is not wrong to buy it if you have $ in reserve. But do your due diligence, for sure.
Not for that kinda money
