Recently checked a 2007 Toyota Corolla LE, with 197k miles, automatic, with sun roof, power windows, locks etc... Private party seller is asking for 3,650. Car rode good, but trunk lid closes uneven, owner said no leaks, and has some other cosmetic imperfections. All powered features worked in the car, mechanic took a look and said is in good shape would only need regular maintenance.
For 3,650 is it a good idea or not? Around I see many older Corollas going for same price or more expensive .. but wanna get more opinions before actually buying it
The price seems to be high to me but you said in your area, it is the case. What concerns me is the trunk issue. Did it have accident?
The price is alright, I would still shoot below 3 grand, but definitely have your mechanic check it out and make sure it doesn't have problems and hasn't been in an accident.
I think it's a good idea but since it's cosmetically damaged see if it is possible to lower it, if not you can just go for it
